Meet the team

Emily and LJ Keston
Founders
Emily and LJ founded Stagebox in Leeds 11 years ago, starting with a focus on making high-quality performance training more accessible to young people regardless of background, location or previous experience. The programme began locally and has since grown to centres in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Dublin, alongside a global platform. Stagebox has gained 22 million views, been recognised for breaking barriers to access and supported young people from all regions in accessing the arts.
Alongside Stagebox, they also work in the industry as leading children’s casting professionals and general managers at Keston & Keston, working across profile stage and screen projects in the UK and Internationally.

Jasmine Quinlan-Gardner
Director of Development & Outreach
Jasmine has worked at Stagebox for the past decade and has supported many young people through their training and progression. Alongside her Directorship, her role focuses on development, outreach, partnerships and talent support across the organisation.
She leads on diversity and inclusion initiatives through The Diversity and Company Project, helping young people access training in musical theatre and acting. She also works with schools, community groups and families nationally and internationally, supporting access routes into Stagebox including scholarships and bursaries.

John Hicks
Head of Operations
John brings 19 years of experience in theatre, live entertainment and production operations. His background includes stage management and production work on shows such as The Book of Mormon, Moulin Rouge and The Lion King, as well as MAMMA MIA! worldwide.
At Stagebox, he oversees operations across programmes and events, including The Company Project Live and the 10 Year celebration at Leeds Playhouse, as well as the day-to-day running of memberships and experience.

Chloe Powell
Head of Established Talent
Chloë brings over a decade of industry experience to Stagebox, where she leads the Established List with strategic vision and champions top-level talent across all genres. Chloë has agented some of the biggest deals of the decade including high-profile deals, co-reps and adult contracts across the UK and the US.

Joel White
Head of Emerging Talent
Joel has worked with Stagebox Management for three years and leads the Emerging Talent roster, working primarily with early-stage performers.
He trained in musical theatre at Guildford School of Acting and performed professionally before becoming an agent. He now works closely with performers and families at the start of their industry journey, supporting development across stage, television and film.

Heather Conder
Agent - Emerging Talent
Heather works within the Emerging Talent team, supporting performers and families at the beginning of their development in the industry.
She studied at the University of Cambridge before training in musical theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She performed professionally before moving into agenting and now works closely with clients to support training, confidence and progression into the industry.

Scott Johnston-Riches
Production Co-Ordinator
Scott has a background in arts administration and creative direction and supports the day-to-day running of Stagebox programmes and memberships.
He works across coordination and delivery, helping ensure a smooth experience for members and supporting the creative and operational teams across training and experience.

Jo Goodwin
Creative Director
Jo Goodwin is the Creative Director of Stagebox having worked extensively with the company for the last decade training and mentoring countless young performers. Jo is also a leading industry choreographer and her recent screen and stage work includes Black Mirror (Netflix), The Performance Movie and Strike (HBO/BBC).
She continues to work across studio, set and stage, and plays an ongoing role in shaping the performance work at Stagebox, supporting the overall standard and delivery of the Company Project Live.

Joe Ransom
Director of Film
Joe Ransom is Director of Film at Stagebox, working across filmed content and live capture for members, including directing The Company Project Live.
His recent work includes Dancing With The Stars (US), Sunset Boulevard (Broadway), Romeo & Juliet (West End), and work across productions such as Cabaret (West End & Broadway) and & Juliet (Worldwide).
